the perfect cure
so, here i am late at night...

hours before we leave to go to my grandparents for the holidays...

crying...

don't ask me why...

but i just don't want next year to come

and i've realized that it's just around the corner.

anyways...

I at least have discovered my perfect cure for these tears today.

Chocolate milk and a funny harry potter fanfic

a draco/hermione one of course!

I don't feel entirely one hundred percent grand.

But I feel better than I did 20 minutes ago.

5 days
Five more days before Christmas, and it's odd. I'm not really as excited as I have been for Christmas in past years.

Could it be because we didn't decorate this year, or we're not staying home but going else where instead.

Well whatever the reason, my holiday spirt has been somewhat quenched.

I just hope it's here before the holiday is here.

So Close
hemm well one best friend (a.k.a. David) is busy doing homework right now and asked me to blog this... = ) so here it is.... a one shot! woo!

So Close

The Great Hall was beautifully decorated. All of the long tables had been removed and replaced with smaller ones around the edge of the Hall. Where the staff table once was, was a stage, a band was rocking out on top of it. Everything seemed to be perfect. Except to two people.

It was then that the band on the stage slowed everything down and the lights in the Great Hall dimmed. It was a beautiful song, but there we're two people standing just outside the doors that we're listening.

You’re in my arms
And all the world is calm
The music playing on for only two
So close together
And when I’m with you
So close to feeling alive

"You should have asked me first then!"

"How was I supposed to know that someone had already asked you? Him to be more exact." Ron pointed back into the great hall.

"Ugh! You never treat me like anything more than just one of your mates! What did you expect, that I was just going to sit around and wait for you to ask me. Or did you think that nobody would?!"

A life goes by
Romantic dreams must die
So I bid mine goodbye
and never knew
So close was waiting,
waiting here with you
And now forever I know
All that I wanted to hold you
So close

Harry then chose that time to walk up to them from the dance.

"Guys, would you stop arguing for once and enjoy the dance? Please?"

Both Ron and Hermione turned away from each other just to glare at Harry for interrupting their tirade. However unbeknownst to the two of them, Harry was listening to the song that the band happened to be playing.

So close
to reaching that famous happy ending
Almost believing
this was not pretend
And now you’re beside me
and look how far we’ve come
So far
we are
so close.

Harry shook his head and grabbed both of their hands and dragged them into the Great Hall, and forced them to sit down at a table.

"Would you two stop bickering for a moment and enjoy yourselves. We all could have been hanging out together and having a blast. Now sit here and listen to the music at least."

Harry then stormed off, quite frustrated with his friends and their constant bickering.

Hermione and Ron glared at Harry's back. But then Hermione turned to look at Ron and shook her head. And slowly turned away from him. Ron stared at her back and then turned away from her and crossed his arms muttering about how stupid Krum was.

***

Neither one actually listened to the final words of the song the band played.

How could I face the faceless days
If I should lose you now?
We’re so close
To reaching that famous happy end
And almost believing this was not pretend
Let’s go on dreaming for we know we are
So close
So close
And still so far

Now to all you wondering what on god's green earth a boomilever is... well... Google it. = )

now that you know what a boomilever is ... I have spent all weekend building this glorious boomilever that now looks like a peice of crap... yippie... the entire thing is practiaclly covered in wood glue and looks nothing like the really pretty boomilevers that you might have seen when you googled it. no... it's very haphazard and well... not exactally to regulation standards.

Great.

Well hopefully Mr. Wehner (physics teacher) won't look at it like that's the craziest thing he's ever seen. lol

Oh....

and thanks to this glorious boomilever i have glue in my hair...

Thank oh glorious (freakin' stupid) boomilever.

Emily Dickinson and Walt Witman go on a Date
That's the title of the short stry that everyone in my English class have to write. At first I was "YES! a short story about a cuple this will be so easy!" but now that i've acctually started writing it, it's been proved to be really tricky. And there has never been a story that I couldn't conquer.

Emily Dickinson and Walt Witman go on a Date?

Well I must give my teacher kudo's for the creativity! But I'm hoping that this is one story that doesn't put me in my place. (AFTER ALL IT'S FOR A GRADE!)

Phantom
Ah, the Phantom of the Opera. It is such a good musical and I've seen a lot of musicals. But this one is by far my favorite now. (State Fair holding the top postion previously). Ah, the confusion if you feel sorry for the Phantom or if you just want him to bugger off captivates me. Gosh, I love it. So now I say to all of you.

GO SEE IT!

Cause from the poll I've taken hardly anybody has!

So yes go see it please.

Enchanted & "So Close" & Harry Potter
So last Wendsday Kristin and I and whole bunch of girls who go to church with Kristin went to go see Enchanted (If y'all haven't you really outta) And there's is a part towrds the end with a ball and a really beautiful song called "So Close" sung by Jon McLaughlin. It is so amazing. In fact so beautiful it mae my best friend, a.k.a. Kristin go "awww" and those don't happen very often... unless she's reading a dramione or spuffy fan fiction... but that's another story for another day ( = ] ) anyways. We we're listening to it during lunch and it dawned on me that I have yet to write a Hermione/Ron fan fiction. That's when it was decided that we'd use this song as the inspiration for my new fan fic. And now I must say that just thinking about it made me almost cry. The song is so beautiful, I absolutley adore it.

DON'T PUSH THE YELLOW TAPE!
So today in video class, we're preparing to learn how to do interviews for our school's broadcast. Something we've been "preparing" to do since the begining of the year. Great.

I really had signed up for Video to do learn all the cool animation stuff and programing, not how to run a news broadcast. You take what you can get I guess. But still, I really want to learn how to do animation.

Oh, woe is me.

Like my parents, I've decided to take a bunch of quiz-y type things and post them... woot! go quiz-y type things! YAY!

Your Brain is 73% Female, 27% Male

Your brain leans female
You think with your heart, not your head
Sweet and considerate, you are a giver
But you're tough enough not to let anyone take advantage of you!

You Are An ISFP

The Artist

You are a gifted artist or musician (though your talents may be dormant right now).
You enjoy spending your free time in nature, and you are good with animals and children.
Simply put, you enjoy beauty in all its forms and live for the simple pleasures in life.
Gentle, sensitive, and compassionate - you are good at recognizing people's unspoken needs.

In love, you are quiet and sweet yet very passionate. You love easily.
You have an underlying love for all living things, and it's easy for you to accept someone into your heart.

At work, you do best in an unconventional position. You express yourself well and can work with almost anyone.
You would make a good veterinarian, pediatrician, or composer.

How you see yourself: Sympathetic, kind, and communicative

When other people don't get you, they see you as: Incompetent, insecure, and overly sensitive

You Are 56% Girly

You're a little girly, a little boyish, and probably a whole lot indie.
You have your own unique style, and it pretty much defies gender lines.

Your Theme Song is Beautiful Day by U2

"Sky falls, you feel like
It's a beautiful day
Don't let it get away"

You see the beauty in life, especially in ordinary everyday moments.
And if you're feeling down, even that seems a little beautiful too.

You Are a Log Ride

You prefer to live a fairly calm, relaxed life... with a few surprises thrown in.
You don't tend to get yourself worked up easily. You can roll with what life throws at you.
In relationships, you are steady and solid. You maintain a pretty broad perspective on what's going on.
That's not to say you can't get swept away. You're emotions run as deep as anyone else's.

Your life seems like it has been remarkably easy so far. But that's due to how you manage it.
You never stretch yourself too thinly, and you think out your decisions carefully.
Taking the time to enjoy each day is important to you, and you don't let your emotions rule you.
You stay the course and do what's right... knowing it will all work out in the end.

At your best, you are tolerant and understanding of other people's quirks.
You take "go with the flow" to the extreme. Even if you don't like where you're going.
At your worst, you repress your feelings and end up being a little tightly wound.
You definitely have some explosive emotions that occasionally come to the surface!

You Are A Green Girl

You feel most at home in a world of ideas.
You're curious and logical - and enjoy a good intellectual challenge.
You're super cool, calm, and collected. Very little tries your patience.
Your only fear? People not realizing how smart and able you are!

Jingle Ball 2007
So last night David, Emma (my sister), her bestfriend Kaelin, and my mommy, and me went to Jingle Ball 2007 Night 1.

There were four bands there three of which I love. Cute Is What We Aim For, Plain White T's, Gym Class Heros, and Fall Out Boy.

I had a ton of fun last night, both David and me jumping up and down, laughing, trying to talk to eachother even though we couldn't hear eachother and then getting really frustrated with one another. It was a blast. i'm glad that David had fun to, after all he wasn't entirely sure about going in the first place.

So i thank 107.9 for having the concert every year, cause it was a BLAST!
